About NEYIF
NEYIF is a National Non-Governmental, Non for Profit, Humanitarian and Development Organization that promotes an all-inclusive society for all. NEYIF was established in 2013, with operational offices in North-East and North-West Nigeria, the office headquarters is in Damaturu, the capital of Yobe state.
NEYIF work in creating access and linking most vulnerable members of the community to humanitarian support and assistance. In the last years, NEYIF had engaged in Profiling, Identification, Registration, Tracking, Supporting and provision of humanitarian assistance to communities affected by conflict, at risk and host communities through Food Assistance, Livelihood support, Agriculture Support, Education, Health and Nutrition, WASH, Shelter, Protection, GBV, CBT and others with support of Donors (Direct or Indirect) funded project.
Tittle:Structural Engineer
Location: Dandi and Bagudo LGAs, Kebbi State.
The project will be implemented in Bagudu and Dandi Local Government Areas, targeting 27,000 direct beneficiaries and 69,000 indirect beneficiaries. PATRIP aims to combat destabilization, radicalization, and violent extremism in border communities through two main objectives: strengthening social cohesion and conflict resolution and improving access to climate-sensitive socio-economic infrastructure.
The program will engage communities through conflict prevention training, peace clubs, inclusive dialogue platforms, climate-resilient infrastructure development, cash-for-work initiatives, vocational skills training, and livelihood support grants. This comprehensive approach seeks to build community resilience, reduce inequalities, and foster sustainable peace in vulnerable border areas affected by insecurity and climate change.
Requirements:
- BEng/HND
- Must be Structural Engineer.
- Must be a Resident of Kebbi State
- Problem-solving mindset
- Women are Highly Encouraged to Apply
