Job Summary
The Media Officer will be responsible for visually documenting our projects, creating engaging multimedia content, and developing effective communication strategies to showcase our work. This is a key role that requires strong photography and videography skills, attention to details, and excellent story telling abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
> Capture high-quality photos and videos of our projects and activities.
> Develop and implement a visual content strategy to showcase our work.
> Create engaging multimedia content for social media, websites, and other platforms.
> Collaborate with program staff to document project successes and challenges.
> Edit and produce multimedia content for various audiences.
> Maintain an organized database of photos and videos.
> Work closely with the communications team to develop effective communication strategies.
Required Qualifications:
Education
> Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Visual Arts, or a related field.
> NYSC Certificate.
Experience and Skills
> At least 2-3 years of experience in photography, videography, or multimedia production.
> Strong photography and videography skills, with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, etc.).
> Excellent storytelling and communication skills.
> Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
> Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
> Familiarity with social media platforms and content management systems.
