The Federal Civil Service has announced redeployments as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen efficiency and enhance productivity across Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs).
The Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Mrs. Didi Walson-Jack, made the announcement in a circular made available to newsmen on Wednesday in Abuja. She stated that the redeployments take effect from Wednesday, 19 November 2025.
“Kindly note that the handing over and taking over processes should be completed on or before Wednesday, 26 November 2025,” she informed the affected Permanent Secretaries.
According to the circular:
Engr. Funsho Adebiyi has been redeployed from the Ministry of Works to the Ministry of Transportation.
Dr. Ibrahim Abubakar Kana has been moved from the Ministry of Aviation and Aerospace Development to the General Services Office (OSGF).
Dr. Yakubu Adam Kofarmata has been redeployed from the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction to the Ministry of Aviation and Aerospace Development.
Mrs. Nko Asanye Esuabana has been moved from the Ministry of Innovation, Science and Technology to the Ministry of Women Affairs.
Mr. Richard Pheelamilo Pheelangwa has been moved from the Ministry of Water Resources and Sanitation to the Ministry of Defence.
Mr. Raymond Omenka Omachi has been posted from the Ministry of Finance (Special Duties) to the Ministry of Finance to understudy Mrs. Lydia Shehu Jafiya.
Dr. Deborah Oyindamola Odoh of the Service Policies & Strategies Office (OHCSF) has been redeployed to the Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning.
Others affected include:
Mr. Olubunmi Olusanya, formerly of the Ministry of Youth Development, now redeployed to the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction.
Dr. Emeka Vitalis Obi of the Ministry of Petroleum Resources, redeployed to the Federal Civil Service Commission.
Mrs. Fatima Sugra Tabi’a Mahmood, moved from the Career Management Office (OHCSF) to the Ministry of Marine and Blue Economy to understudy Mr. Olufemi Michael Oloruntola.
Dr. Emanso Okop Umobong, redeployed from the Cabinet Affairs Office (OSGF) to the Ministry of Water Resources and Sanitation.
Dr. Maryam Ismaila Keshinro, moved from the Ministry of Women Affairs to the Ministry of Youth Development.
