Nollywood actress Regina Daniels broke down in tears in a new video shared on her Instagram Story early Friday, expressing frustration and despair over ongoing family challenges, and posted a heartfelt message declaring, “I give up.”
In the emotional clip, Daniels revealed the toll of her current struggles, saying, “I tried. I feel like I’m going crazy, I’m losing my mind, and it’s not making any sense. I’m really crying in front of everybody.”
The actress, who had celebrated the reconciliation of her once‑estranged parents on Thursday, said their reunion was solely for her happiness. “Two concluded sworn enemies reuniting with no negative ulterior motive other than their daughter’s happiness,” she wrote.
Daniels disclosed that her parents are currently in Abuja, working together to secure the release of her brother, Sammy, who has allegedly been in detention for several days. She expressed growing frustration over the delay: “Sammy’s detainment is taking way too long, but we will get him out even if I have to march there myself and create a storm! Since they want me!”
In a separate video, fellow Nollywood actress Mercy Johnson was seen searching for Sammy, saying, “He’s not here,” before promising to continue the search elsewhere.
Amid tears, Daniels also hinted at returning to her husband, expressing the emotional strain of her situation. “But please, what am I even begging for? I don’t know. Do you guys think it’s easy? Every time I wake up, I say one thing oh my brother, today I hear good news, he’s about to be free, then tomorrow I hear another thing. Like, what’s the problem? But I’ve tried. I have to go. I will go back,” she said.
This latest emotional outburst follows weeks of public concern over Daniels’ marriage to businessman Ned Nwoko. On October 18, a viral video showed her in tears, surrounded by aides and family, saying: “In Ned Nwoko’s house, I am nothing. But in my house, I am a queen. Not again. I can’t stand the violence, it’s too much.” Nwoko later denied the allegations, attributing her outburst to “drug and alcohol abuse” and insisting she needed rehabilitation.

Daniels also recently pleaded with Nigerians to stop attacking her mother, whom she described as her “pillar and protector.” She further spoke emotionally about her sons, Munir and Khalifa, vowing to protect and raise them despite her marital troubles. “I’m going to fight for my children. I’ll take them, train them, and raise them with or without your support,” she stated, noting that her family had never approved of her marriage.
