Delight Affection Foundation (DAF) is a registered, non-profit humanitarian and development organization dedicated to improving the lives of vulnerable, underserved, and crisis-affected populations through inclusive, rights-based, and sustainable interventions. Established in 2019, DAF works across the Humanitarian–Development–Peace Nexus, delivering life-saving assistance while strengthening community resilience and promoting long-term development outcomes.
DAF implements integrated programs in Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), Nutrition, Health, Food Security and Livelihoods (FSL), Protection, Education, Climate Change Adaptation, Gender Equality, and Emergency Response. Our interventions are designed to address immediate humanitarian needs while empowering communities with the knowledge, resources, and capacities required to recover, thrive, and become self-reliant.
With extensive experience supporting internally displaced persons (IDPs), returnees, host communities, women, children, youth, and persons with disabilities, DAF adopts a community-driven approach that promotes participation, accountability, inclusion, and local ownership. We work closely with government institutions, community structures, humanitarian actors, and development partners to ensure impactful and sustainable solutions that leave no one behind.
DAF is guided by humanitarian principles and international standards, including the Sphere Standards, Core Humanitarian Standard (CHS), and Accountability to Affected Populations (AAP). Through innovation, partnership, and compassion, we remain committed to saving lives, restoring dignity, and building resilient communities across Nigeria.
