TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
A SOLICITORS CAVEAT LETTER TO THE PUBLIC (WARNING)
We are Solicitors to the Estate of Late Sir (Engr.) Kola Sheidun represented by the first son, Ekundayo
Sheidun. Upon his timely instruction to save unsuspecting members of the public from falling headlong
into the den of fraudsters by purchasing the property located at Plot 426 Dr. Napoleon Aisueni Street,
Etete Government Layout, G.R.A, Benin City comprising 14 units of 3 Bedroom flat and a 4 Bedroom
duplex on a land measuring 200feet by 200feet.
We quickly write and publish this CAVEAT against the publication made of the fake and false advert of
one of the items of property of Late Sir (Engr.) Kola Sheidun on the internet by one Mrs. Mercy Sheidun.
Our Client therefore warns that anybody who does business with Mrs. Nercy Sheidun on this property
advertised and any other property of Late Sir (Engr) Kola Sheidun does so at his or her own risk.
First we warn because the collection of Late Sir (Engr) Kola Sheidun properties is in court. It is under
disputation in court.
Second, the one advertised contravenes the order of the court made on the 27th day of September,
2011 by Honorable Justice S.O Oigboke, Judge sitting in High Court Number 5 in the Benin Judicial
Division Benin City.
The order reads as follows:
“Having heard counsel for the 1st and 2nd defendants and having considered the affidavit in support of
the application order granted as prayed. Accordingly, the Plantiff by himself, his agents, servants, privies
or otherwise whosoever and all the other parties in this suit i.e the 1st, 2nd and 3rd defendants are
hereby restrained from selling, alienating, leasing, transferring, meddling with or interfering within and
any way shapes or form, all or any of the properties, chattels and items forming part of the Estate of the
Late Sir (Engr) Kola Sheidun who died on 25°h September, 2009 pending the hearing and determination
of the substantive suit which has been fixed for 10th November, 2011.
Presently, there are suits or cases bothering on the property of Late Sir (Engr)
Kola Sheidun in many courts, whether civil or criminal for example;
1. B/78/2010 In High Court 9 under Honorable Justice Ovbiagele
2. In criminal court 2 under Hon. Justice Aziegbemhin
3. In suit number B/ICA/2024 in the court of Appeal, Benin.
This is why we strongly warn the public not to be fooled by the advertisement to part with their hard
earned money to buy a property in dispute in court. Nothing can be more breaking than this. Hence, this
solicitors CAVEAT whose timely proclamation is “Let the Buyer Beware”.
