American DJ and producer Diplo drew attention at the second leg of Temi Otedola and Mr Eazis wedding celebrations in Dubai after appearing to switch female companions during the opulent event.  Otedola, daughter of Nigerian billionaire Femi Otedola, and pop star Mr Eazi, whose real name is Oluwatosin Ajibade, tied the knot in three lavish ceremonies estimated to have cost around $13 million. The couples first ceremony was an intimate civil wedding in May at designer Karl Lagerfelds former home, Villa La Vigie, on the Cte dAzur in France. The second, held on July 5 in Dubai, drew a star-studded guest list and was described by one attendee as basically Africas Forbes billionaires retreat.  Diplo arrived at the Dubai event with a mystery brunette dressed in a bright red spandex jumpsuit, which one source noted did not align with the traditional red garb theme. This was not traditional, the insider said. It seemed like he came with a date. However, the woman was not seen later in the evening. Instead, Diplo was later spotted at the after-party with America Foster, a member of his Major Lazer group. The woman later could have been a friend meeting him there for the party, another source suggested, clarifying that the first companion had disappeared and that everybody was talking about it the next day. A representative for Diplo later confirmed Fosters presence, describing her as a friend.  The Dubai ceremony, held at the Otedola family mansion, was attended by Africas richest man, Aliko Dangote, Ghanaian musician King Promise, billionaire Abdul Samad Rabiu, entrepreneur Iyinoluwa Aboyeji, and legendary performer King Sunny Ade, who also took to the stage.  The third and final wedding took place in Iceland on August 8 in a custom-built glass structure set in a remote field outside Reykjavk, surrounded by wild horses and grazing cows. Grammy Award winner John Legend performed, surprising the bride, who had been told he would not be attending. Otedola shared her first dance with her father to Legends Save Room, followed by a dance with her husband to his hit Tonight (Best You Ever Had).  Guests later travelled to Hvammsvik Hot Springs for a serene recovery soak after the multi-day festivities. It was the most beautiful place I have ever seen, said one attendee. I felt like I was on Mars.” The post Popular music producer Diplo sets tongues wagging after switching dates at Temi Otedola and Mr Eazi’s wedding ceremony appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
